You might not have had the best childhood.

You might have learned from a very early age that you were on your own and that no one was coming to save you.

You might have learned that you needed to be the strong one because that was the only option.

And that strength?

It might have made you successful in life to some degree, but it likely didn’t bring you much peace, fulfillment, or joy.

Either way, you might still be holding onto bitterness, anger, hatred, pain, guilt, blame, sadness, and resentment that is no longer serving you in your life today, and it’s time to let that go.

Otherwise that’s going to continue spread.

Because the truth is, no matter what happened, there is only love on the other side, and every single person that you once loved is waiting for you to connect with them.

And the kicker?

You might actually have a better, more loving and more supportive relationship with them once they’ve passed away.

Because once they crossed over to the other side, they got to see things differently.

They finally got to see your side, and for that they are sorry.

If they could go back and change things, they would, but the reality is they can’t.

There is only moving forward now, and whether or not you continue that relationship is entirely up to you.

But what I know to be true is that carrying hate, unforgiveness, blame, anger, or contempt only further injures you and ruins your own health, happiness, relationships and life experience.

You have a whole entire village of people on the other side rooting for you.

Cheering you on, guiding you, loving you, supporting you, and believing in you.

Whether that be your mother, father, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents, sisters, brothers, your ex in-laws, children, or anyone you want to connect with, they are there, and they are ready to connect with you.

They will give you guidance, they will give you advice, they will dry your tears and help you but you must welcome them in.

You might have gotten the shitty end of the deal at one point in your life.

It doesn’t mean that this has to continue for the rest of your life because, whether or not you choose to believe me, the other side is only filled with love.

A lot of love.
