The Right People Always Show Up on Time

This morning my husband and I were having a conversation about how the right people just show up when we need them the most.
Honestly, I was overcome by so much gratitude and sat there for a while, just thinking back to all the people who were placed in my path when I thought I had no one.
It’s funny how the world works.
It’s funny how the people we think we can count on are often the ones that are nowhere to be found in the moments that matter, and how, by the grace of God, someone is there right when we need them.
For me, looking back that’s always been a random person I just met, that helped me get to where I was going next.
It’s funny how when we think we’re royally screwed with our backs against the wall, out of nowhere help appears. All in the perfect timing and better than expected or even imagined.
The same holds true for my husband. Random people that were sent to help or support us on our journey.
We sat in awe for a while, just recounting the people, random people that just showed up, and how magical that really is. If you haven’t taken the time to do that, I’d encourage you to really sit with yourself and think about where your help truly comes from.
And the coolest part?
That’s really how you come to get what it is you truly want, need, or desire in this lifetime.
It’s a practice, and a practice that took me a long time to truly figure out. A lot of failures, a lot of setbacks, a lot of tears but oddly enough, each step was perfect in its own way.
This practice?
Well, it’s called releasing control. It’s putting your desires, needs, and wants out there into the Universe, or asking God for them, and then letting that incredible divine source figure out the details without you needing to be in control or figure out how, and that, my friend, is just a breath of fresh air, isn’t it?
It’s knowing that you’re fully supported and taken care of.
It’s knowing that God’s got your back… or the Universe knows how to make it happen… or faith over fear works every single time. Whatever you choose to believe, I hope you choose to believe that the right people always show up on time.
And the ones that don’t show up for you?
Well, you’ve got your answer. You didn’t need them.
I think it’s so easy to sit there in times of trouble or a when faced with a challenge and think that we have no one in our corner.
It’s easy to think that people are dumb, or that the world is full of idiots… and you know what, there are some dumb idiots out there in the world, but that’s not your issue to worry about.
What I’ve personally found that is that people that have come into my life...
They’re kind. They’re supportive. They’re beautiful. They’re friendly. They’re happy. They’re generous. They’re helpful. They’re loving. They’re respectful.
They show up right on time.
And that’s really a beautiful thing to be a part of.
