The Crown Chakra

The highest of frequencies is love and every day we get to choose. Will we choose to embody the truth of who we are or will we choose to reside in the darkness that co-exists with the light. Only light can outcast darkness so you must see the darkness for what it is and choose to live, breathe and have your being in something far greater than yourself. Ultimately at the end of the day this is union and oneness with your highest self. God.
God is within you and you essentially are a divine spark from the great almighty. Discovering this gift and hidden treasure of love nestled within your own heart and soul is the most beautiful discovery known to man. This greatness knows of no lack or separation. It only knows the truth and the truth is there is only love, abundance, peace, joy, energy, health, creativity, free will, and positivity, but sometimes that can be covered up and overshadowed by all the other stuff we are carrying that could be blocking our divine flow and connection with our true self.
Anything other than love is an illusion and we get to decide if we are going to choose to embody a spirit of fullness or if we are going to go against ourselves and reside in a space of fear. This is why a spiritual journey of self-discovery is unique and individual to every single person on the planet. There is no right way or no wrong way. There is only divine perfection getting you to the ultimate goal in life which is love. It’s a beautiful discovery of self-realization, self-love and self-discovery.
When your Crown Chaka is blocked you essentially do not know who you are. There is only pain, suffering and at times it can feel like you are losing your mind, which in a sense you are. The mind of thought and constant fixation and identification with thoughts can lead you to a space of hell. But when we overcome the mind and body we are able to tap into our heart and soul transcending who we essentially are and choose to fully embody the unseen world of our existence.
Awakening to our own divine truth can be a scary experience for some because the world as we know it, comes crashing down and all of our limitations, negative though patterns, negative limiting beliefs, toxic traits, past traumas, and old patterns are brought to the surface.
We must look deep within ourselves to dispose of all the lies so we can walk in our truth. This type of shadow work can be dark, lonely, upsetting, disappointing, triggering, and can be filled with guilt, shame, remorse, fear, regret, anger and extreme sadness, but this process is necessary.
It’s a cleansing of your spirit and returning it fully to a space of pure wholeness, light, and love. Both the darkness and the light will continue to co-exist at times, but you have the power within to turn on the light and outshine any darkness that may try to consume you.
When your Crown Chakra is blocked here are some signs:
- Lack of purpose in life
- Forgetful
- Disconnected from yourself
- Close minded and stuck in your own way
- Cynical
- Excessive isolation
- Loneliness
- Critical of others
- Unable to connect with others
- Frustrated with life
- Lack of trust in yourself and others
When you have a balanced Crown Chakra you will have surrendered to your highest self so you can reside in a space of harmony and oneness with all of life.

- Have a sense of humour
- Divine inner peace
- Connected to your souls purpose
- Trusting
- Connected to yourself and others
- You are calm and serene
- Open to everything
- Certain of yourself and who you are
- Thankful
- Passionate
- Wealthy
- Rich
- Focused
- Excited
- Enthusiastic
- Happy
- Content
- Confident
- Rested
- Beautiful
- Full of love
This 7th chakra is located at the top of your head and once this energy centre is open you will ultimately be your happiest and healthiest self for you are no longer identified with your mind or body. The crown chakra doesn’t fully develop until the ages of 43 – approximately 50. Even then, not everyone will open their crown chakra in their lifetime. Many are meant to walk through life asleep and unconscious and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it for that is their life path.
After all of the other 6 chakras are open and balanced it is only then that the crown chakra can open.
Even if enlightenment doesn’t occur, there are still practices that help open and heal the crown chakra to create more love, oneness, and divine connection in our lives.
