Rocky Balboa once said...
The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done.
So here is ONE indicator you’re doing life wrong; and not open to connection or heck even in the game of winning at life, perhaps because you’re letting life knock you down.
Ego will try everything in it’s power to keep you safe and isolated and stuck in fear, so check yourself.
If you find yourself doing this, question whether or not this ONE thing is helping you get better or stunting your growth.
Say for example you see someone who has something you want. They have achieved something, know something or are doing something you’d love to do.
Winners will know what they want, see others, be inspired by them, and ask them questions to accelerate their success, shorten their learning curve, and often will cut a cheque to learn how to achieve success faster.
Losers will creep, Google, Youtube, try their own thing, spend countless hours trying to get a better deal, compare themselves to others, and continue to go around in circles continuing on the merry go round that leads nowhere not recognizing their own deep routed insecurity, shame, unworthiness, fear, guilt, judgement, blame, or negativity. Simply wasting more time and money and getting lower grade results or no results at all.
So.... if you’re winning, keep winning. Keep climbing. Keep investing. Keep being a student in life, and open yourself up more.
If you’re losing, and going around in circles. Stop, and go the complete opposite of what you’d normally do.
I know it’s scary getting outside of your comfort zone, invest in yourself, asking for help and reaching out to admit personal defeat, but this is going to make your life better, and that really is HOW you reach the next level of success and growth.
Typically that’s going to require you to get over your false self, so you can find your true self which ultimately is open to love, support, connection, and growth.
Leaders lead, but they were once a follower who asked for help, took ownership and got to work.
Followers not asking for help, stay creepers, poison their life and family with more hate and mediocrity and continue to stunt their own growth, so PLEASE choose wisely on this one.
