Healing from Anxiety, PTSD, Fear and Stress

Fun fact. For over 2 years I couldn’t hold a knife, walk down the stairs in my home, drive over a bridge, hold a cell phone charger or be alone with my kids without thinking I’d do something to them, or to myself.
 
My husband couldn’t leave me alone. I was like a scared little child, terrified of my own self.
 
I will say I didn’t get much help or relief through the “traditional” route of going to my doctor or to a therapist.
 
I was still alone with myself every day, so I took control.
 
Why am I sharing this?
 
Because FEAR, stress, anxiety, insecurity, and PTSD is a b*tch and it can ruin your life, your health, your relationships, your finances if you don’t handle it and do the work to learn HOW transcend it.
 
It was the darkest season of my life, and there’s no real reason WHY it happened to me, but what I learned along my healing journey is it was meant to happen, and it gave me a tool box that allowed me to grow and help others to stop being at war with themselves.
It’s been well over 2000 days where I’ve gotten up every day before my kids.
 
Intrusive thoughts, fears, anxiety, and stress consumed my life, but it surely didn’t ruin it.
Here’s what I want you to know.
 
If you’re fighting a war in your mind, or fighting a battle no one knows about, please get up and fight FOR your life.
 
Hold on tight to that tiny whisper from within that says you’re safe, you’re going to be okay, that you’ve got this, that it’s all unfolding perfectly for your highest good and keep going.
 
When I tell you my morning routine, meditation, eating well, movement saved my life, I mean it, but what saved my life the most?
 
Getting up and discovering who I really was and connecting with God every day. Presence is power.
 
You are worth getting up for.
 
She’s not full of fear, doubt, insecurity, comparison, lack, stress, and anxiety.
No.....she’s full of love, but you’re going to have to get up, and fight harder than ever before.
 
You’re going to have to sit with yourself and make time for yourself to heal and find yourself.
 
Trust me. She’s still in there. Keep going okay?
 
You’ve got this.
 
It’s never too late for a happy ending, but in order to get that happy ending, and peace of mind, you’re going to have to get up to do the hard work that no one ever wants to do to make their life BETTER.
